PRAY

“Prayer does not fit us for the greater work; prayer is the greater work." - Oswald Chambers

Don’t underestimate the power of your prayer in fulfilling the Great Commission; indeed, prayer should be considered front-line work in advancing the gospel, fighting against the spiritual darkness that our workers face daily. Regularly reach out to us and any workers you may know for specific prayer requests.

PRAYER + PRAISE

Pray for safety for the EOD team as they work to disable unexploded ordnances in the fields of Ukraine.
Pray against the spiritual darkness workers face on a daily basis. Pray that God’s light and protection would surround workers as they interact with the unreached.
Pray that the BRIDGE students be motivated to learn Arabic, and that the light of Jesus would shine through them in their daily interactions as they practice Arabic with locals.
Pray for laborers in His harvest equipped to share the gospel in the darkest corners of the earth (Matthew 9:37-38).
Pray for the team at the Tigris Center. Pray for wisdom in interacting with locals, and that hearts would be softened and eyes opened to hear and understand the gospel.
Pray for the teams of workers in the field. Pray for unity and wisdom in making decisions.
Pray for those who attend Kingdom Channel’s trainings. Pray that God would direct them and that they would be like clay in the Potter’s hands, molded and shaped for His work.
Pray that the stateside team and leaders will be sensitive to where God is leading those on the ground and the future direction of Kingdom Channels, and that wise, Holy Spirit-inspired decisions will be made.
Pray that the team at the Tigris Center would be encouraged in their day-to-day work interacting with locals at the center, and that relationships would continue to deepen and the gospel can be shared.
Pray for more pray-ers to have a burden to pray and would join the frontlines with others who are praying for workers and the unreached.
Pray that the team with the Restoration Project would continue to build a safe community with the women they are walking alongside, and that the truth and love of God would shine through the team and transform the women.
Pray for those considering serving in the 10/40 Window; pray that God clearly guides them where He wants them to serve, whether that is serving with Kingdom Channels or a different organization, supporting stateside or serving overseas.
Pray for that God would lead the EOD Research + Development team to locations where He is already working, and that good contacts would be provided to pave the way for the EOD team to work.
Praise God for what an amazing God we are so honored to worship; that He invites and longs for us to work with Him, the Creator of the universe!
Pray that God’s Word would continue to go forth through the 1040Bibles team, and that they would continue to grow helpful relationships with their contacts; pray that this project would continue to reach to the most unreached places.
Praise God for the open doors He has provided into Country S. Pray for continued direction and wisdom for the team as they pray into what long-term work may look like in the future.

SEND

Be involved in sending workers to the field by supporting relationally, logistically, and financially. Often, workers need relational support just as much, if not more than, financial support. Your support as a friend, family, or church can strengthen laborers and further the Gospel in many ways.

Check in with the workers you know and ask how you can best support them.

  • Connect regularly, ask thoughtful questions, and listen well. Offer encouragement and pray with them.

    • Ask if they need help managing their mail or other

    • Help coordinate their travel and set up housing when they come home on furlough

    • Assist with scheduling presentations and set-up/tear-down when they give a presentation

    • Organize a care package given by friends, family, and church

    • Support financially

    • Stay informed about their financial needs + ensure their needs are being filled

Service Opportunities:

    • Support couple/family to join the work at the Tigris Center

    • Support couple/family to join the Restoration Team

    • Single man to join the Restoration Team for maintenance and English Teaching

    • Three single ladies to join the Restoration Team

    • Desert Bloom: Short term immersion in Jordan culture and local ministry

    • Study Arabic while being immersed in the local culture and surrounded by ministry opportunities with the BRIDGE Program

    • Support couple/family to join the EOD project

    • There is the opportunity for two families/couples and 3-4 singles to pioneer a work in Central Asia.

    • We have various opportunities for short-term service. Some of these opportunities require our T3 Training and/or TESOL as prerequisites.

    • Work with the personnel team to develop a preparation plan for work in the 10/40 Window. We will collaborate with you to develop a team to pioneer a project in a new area or you can join an existing project with a unique skill or ability you may bring.
