Our team consists of a family and a couple committed long-term, living in the city of a Middle Eastern country.
The Vision
Our team’s vision is two-fold. First, we hope to share the presence of Jesus through building relationships with locals, and disciple them in the way of Jesus, leading to locals eventually following Jesus themselves.
Second, we desire to serve as a bridge between other followers of Jesus who wish to serve in Middle Eastern contexts but have little to no cultural experience. Followers of Jesus are welcome to enter the country and gain valuable experience, culture, and language as the J Team hosts them and facilitates their experience.
Projects
We have several different platforms in this country, including running a language school, the BRIDGE program for Arabic study, and Desert Bloom for short term experience in the Middle East.
Language School
The language school has existed for about 10 years under other ownership and management. Kingdom Channels recently purchased the language school license and is working to use it as a platform for ministry.
The school will be used to engage with Muslims through hiring local staff and teaching English, as well as a place for followers of Jesus to learn Arabic that they can use in Arabic-speaking contexts. There are several local Christians already on staff at the school which we will continue to hire.
We are raising additional funds for operational expenses for the first 6 months - covering repairs to the building, hiring staff, the building lease, and other related costs.
BRIDGE
The BRIDGE program is a separate program operated by Kingdom Channels. This is a unique opportunity for young people to spend a year or two learning the Arabic language to further their preparation before entering into full-time ministry with Arabic speakers in many places. There are also many ministry opportunities to be involved in even while participating in the BRIDGE program.
The country of J is a place where learning the Arabic language and culture is very accessible. Kingdom Channels provides spiritual oversight and housing as well as community for young people abroad.

Desert Bloom
Desert Bloom is a two-month cultural immersion hosted and facilitated by the J team. The trip includes ministry experience such as English teaching, children’s ministry, home visits, and prison outreach. It also includes exploring the country and culture through visiting historical sites and spending a few days outside of the city environment.
