SEND

And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!”

Romans 10:15

Be involved in sending workers to the field by supporting relationally, logistically, and financially. Often, workers need relational support just as much, if not more than, financial support. Your support as a friend, family, or church can strengthen laborers and further the Gospel in many ways.

Check in with the workers you know and ask how you can best support them.

    • Connect regularly, ask thoughtful questions, and listen well. Offer encouragement and pray with them.

    • Send a care package from your family or church with encouraging cards and small, meaningful gifts.

    • Let them know they are being prayed for and respond to their newsletters or update groups.

    • Ask if they need help managing their mail or other things while they are gone

    • Help coordinate and arrange their travel and housing when they come home on furlough

    • Assist with scheduling presentations and set-up/tear-down when they give a presentation

    • Stay informed about their financial needs and ensure their needs are being met

    • If helpful, organize fundraising events to raise funds for specific needs
