Method: Why Audio Bibles?
Broader Accessibility
Many in the region cannot read; an audio Bible allows them to hear God’s Word in their own language.
Smaller Form Factor
An audio Bible on a microSD card is easier to conceal and carry in large volumes.
Available Devices
While smartphones and internet access are rare, many families have basic phones in which microSD cards can be played. Solar-powered players are another way the cards can be listened to in remote villages.
Speed of Duplication
One duplicator can process 47 cards at a time and approx. 400 cards an hour. We currently have 4 duplicators which means approximately 1,600 microSD cards can be duplicated in a hours’ time.

Location: Why West Africa?
We are working closely with contacts and ministries in West Africa. The gospel is going forth, thousands are becoming believers, and hundreds of churches are being planted. The greatest need is Bibles for these new believers. Most do not have access to a copy of God’s Word.
Unfortunately, many people in this region are illiterate and a physical Bible is unusable. Audio Bibles have emerged as a practical alternative. The microSD cards are write-protected so the Bible cannot be deleted or modified. We are also providing some solar-powered players the cards can be played in.
Three T4 trainees are leading and overseeing this West Africa Bibles Project. Our goal is to empower communities and pastors with God’s Word across the West African region.

First Shipment Delivered: 2024 TRIP REPORT
In the fall of 2024, two volunteers, along with others from another organization, took the first shipment of audio Bibles into West Africa, taking 5,000 microSD cards and 500 solar powered players deep into the jungle. It was very meaningful for them to see pastors and villages of believers receiving audio Bibles for the first time.
One of the realizations that came out of this trip was that some of these villages were steeped in pagan worship that included child sacrifice. Some villages had been converted as recently as 6 months ago. One mother, amidst her testimony of thankfulness, shared the sobering reality: You came too late. Our children would still be here if only you had come sooner.
The team took audio Bibles to the village of believers that is the farthest in that region where the gospel has gone. There are many more villages deeper in the jungle that are not yet reached. The locals are attempting to clear dirt bike trails so the gospel can be taken further.
